type

I really really like this! i love how the text is made of leafs and i think this would be so effective on a poster for advertising. The colours of the leafs are very autumn based for the letters and i like how the one that is fresh is a bird and birds are usually assosiated with spring time which is when leafs start arriving. i like the text, it is very bold and stands out very well.

Type

I like the sign used on this image because it matches the type. so because it says 'FAST' i think it creates the effect that it is moving. i also really like the typeography.

Inspiration

'This is Marc Quinn’s most famous piece of work, Self, made using 4.5 litres of his own blood, which was slowly extracted from his body over a period of five months and frozen in a cast of his face. Quinn has been making these roughly every five years since 1991, and each one must be maintained carefully in fridges. The fragility of the media means exhibiting is difficult - the head has to be placed into a glass case which is chilled from underneath. It reminds the audience of the fragility of existence and the precise conditions necessary for the flourishing of life.'

I think this is really wierd and unusual but i love the idea and the concept of what he has done. For me this isnt inspiration but i think it is very interesting and to be honest it really shocked me- I have never seen anything like this.

I chose this image as inspiration because i think it looks pretty. i love the pastel colours and how they are all together and i like how none of them are cut off the image.

I chose this picture as inspiration because i think it looks really beautiful and the colours look amazing. I think it is a church window and i like these because they tell a story (i don't know what this story is).

Font

I chose the font 'chiller'.

I chose this because it looks quite scary and i like how the letters have different thinknesses because i think it makes the font interesting and unusual. It looks really reckless and not looked after. It was created in 1995 by a guy called Andrew Smith. It is a decorative font.
